Even though most of the children in Year 3 have seen or heard of Strictly Come Dancing, they were not expecting to become part of the Upwood Strictly experience for the May Day preparations.
Their dance, to learn and finally perform in front of Parents, Carers and Grandparents, was the Foxtrot.
As soon as the boys bowed to their partners on the day, and took the hand of their partners, a ripple went through the audience.
The boys were perfect gentlemen- spinning their partners around and standing in hold; the girls followed their lead and spun on the spot.
A wonderful afternoon!
